Inflammation Strains, Terps, and Cannabinoids:

As you've probably figured out by now, the terpenes in our bud give us the desired effects we're looking for. Most of the terpenes have several different ways that they can help you which also means we can pair terpenes to make our product work even better for us! In this entry, we're gonna talk about inflammation and what you can do for it using medical cannabis. Don't forget there's a TON of product types so you can choose what you think will help you based on what's inside each product! I personally use a mix of RSO (Rick Simpson Oil- we'll get into that later), flower, and salves on a daily basis.

Don't forget to check out the resources tab for a more complete list of treatment options!

The main cannabinoids you want to find when searching for inflammation relief are going to be THC and CBD- easy enough, right? Don't get too excited yet.

Since terpenes are going to be the most vital part, we'll start with an overview of terps that are good for inflammation! Technically speaking, all of the major terps you see in your products have anti-inflammatory properties, but there are some that are more effective! The most powerful terpene to combat inflammation is going to be Humulene. This terp can be just as powerful as prescription steroids. Other terps like Beta Caryophyllene (this fights against autoimmune disorders), Pinene, Limonene, and Myrcene are my go-to when I'm looking for some pain or nausea relief.

Here are some strains known to help with inflammation, but visit with your doctor or licensed medical professional before making any decisions.
